The sight of the Champions League trophy in a prominent position in one of the most romantic and historic stadiums in the world will always be special in itself.
On the pitch, although no English team could attend this year, two footballers who are important parts of the future of their country's football, made sure to achieve something unique.
Sancho and Bellingham got chosen for the starting line-ups from Terzic and Ancelotti respectively and despite the fact that they are against each other, they will remember this historic 1st of June 2024, having their names side by side.
They managed to be the only Englishmen to start in a Champions League final, as opponents, without an English team participating in the match!
