Starting 2024 with 8 consecutive wins, might mean only one great thing for Arsenal...

Eight straight wins. At the top of the table. Non – stop scoring. Low persentage of conceding goals. Now, an impressive omen is in sight. Arsenal does things like Man.United, Liverpool and Manchester City have done in the past, in a very specific way, in the hunt of Premier League glory!

This was without doubt Arsenal's most difficult win of 2024. Each of the seven victories the Gunners celebrated before the game against Brentford, had come with far greater ease than this one.

However, style of play from the bees, Aaron Ramsdale's error and the pressure felt by Mikel Arteta's side got the better of them. A "magical" moment was needed and it finally came from Ben White's right foot. The England full-back registered his second assist of the season and Kai Havertz scored (2-1), sending Arsenal at the top of the table, even for a few hours.

It was the 8th consecutive win in the current calendar year for the Mikel Arteta's men. Apparently they are the only team to have done something like this at the beginning of 2024 and overall, the fourth different team to do so in the Premier League era.

Sir Alex Ferguson's Manchester United started it in 2009, Liverpool did it four years ago, Manchester City repeated it three years ago. You may have already noticed a common feature of the three cases.

Yes, every one of the teams we mentioned, in the season they were mentioned, won the title. And if this is not considered a title omen for Arsenal, then what can it be?
