Does really everyone understand how important Salah has been to Liverpool since his arrival in 2017?

With the Saudis ready to up their offer as the reports say to 200 million pounds for Mo Salah is there any real possibility for Liverpool to say yes before the transfer window closes  for their League  on September the 7th? And on a real terms honestly, how difficult will be for Klopp to replace him even with all that money available?

The Saudis  had tempted Liverpool with three huge offers this summer and the truth is that Mo Salah definitely had thought about it because their offer is not only very big is a real life changing opportunity for a player who is 31 years of age. And even if it will not happen, this September, they will come back in January trying to lure away another big name from Europe!

But has anyone ever thought really how important is Salah to Liverpool? And yes I agree that the years always count against anyone but his general contribution to the rise of the club under Klopp all these years has been enormous.

First of all let´s see year by year his goals and assists in a  Liverpool shirt since his move from AS Roma in the summer of 2017 in numbers

Salah's best season was  60 G+A his first and his second  best season 47 G+A. His third best season  46 G+A his fourth  best season 39 G+A and his fifth best season 37 G+A. Finally his  6th best season was  36 G+A and take in consideration that was six consecutive seasons! It’s eyebrow raising performance and many people can’t really get how important he has been in all Liverpool successes over this six years.

I had put the numbers in numerical order and not every season in order for somebody to understand fully that his worst season it’s probably a career best for somebody else!

Of course, with his contract running out in two years time and taking in consideration that he is not getting any younger if in January the Saudis come back with another mega offer of 150 million pounds then probably it’s time for LFC to  let him go. And for Klopp to have money in order to complete his overhauling of the team.

But Liverpool fans will always have to remember how important Salah has been to the Klopp era.
