Top of the table Brighton's spending on its scorers this year is less than half the price of Caicedo!

Maybe it is unthinkable. But it is a reality. It looks really impressive. But we have to realize that Brighton operates on this basis. They buy cheap and sell very high. All the scorers so far this season had cost half the money that Moises Caicedo, was bought by Chelsea who had forked out nearly 115 million, marking a record sale in the history of British football!

Players, very important for the Seagulls, have left in the last three years. Yves Bissouma  for Tottenham, Alexis McAllister for Liverpool, Mark Cucurella for Chelsea, Robert Sanchez for Chelsea, Ben White for Arsenal, Leandro Trossard also for the Gunners, Maupay for Everton and ofcourse Caicedo.

Even so, though, Brighton still stand out at Premier League level. It doesn't feel like is missing out on something! Only just motivated to keep moving based on a certain way of thinking.

And what biggest proof that the best possible way so far to start the Premier League. Two out of two, with 8-2 goals in favor, scoring four times against Luton at the Amex and Wolves at Molineux. And with characteristic ease, with Solly March being its leading player and the top scorer of the league, at the given time, with three goals.

No other team in the top five leagues has found the net more times than Brighton. But to take the conversation a step further, let's consider who has scored the goals and how much actually had cost to Tony Bloom’s side.

March signed to the Seagulls for just five million, while Simon Andingra, who opened an account in the Premier League, cost only eight million from the Danish side, Nordsjaelland.

Next up is Evan Ferguson of Bohemians, who we never found how much money exactly had cost but have an added resale fee to the Brighton deal.

We move on to Kaoru Mitoma, who may have scored one big candidate for the goal of the season against Wolves. Only 2.5 million have been spent on the Japanese that now looks a bargain.

And here we come to the two most "expensive". Estupinian, who was bought for 14 million to fill the void of Mark Cucurella and to Joao Pedro that the 30 million paid is the most expensive transfer in the history of Brighton.

So, all of the aforementioned together, with Evan Ferguson being a question mark, as the amount needed for his sake is not specified anywhere, had cost Brighton below 60 million. They have contributed to six points in the Premier League, to spearhead the team at the top of the table.

Therefore, about 65 million is their difference cumulatively.
