Οι εκδηλώσεις μνήμης για τα θύματα της τραγωδίας του Μονάχου συνεχίζονται, με το «Old Trafford» να θυμίζει …νεκροταφείο. Αρκετός κόσμος έξω από το γήπεδο της Μάντσεστερ Γιουνάιτεντ από το πρωί της Τετάρτης, ενώ την Κυριακή θα ακουστεί το The Flowers of Manchester στο ματς με την Έβερτον.

Η Γιουνάιτεντ τιμά τα θύματα της αεροπορικής τραγωδίας του 1958 και το ίδιο κάνουν και η Μάντσεστερ Σίτι και η Λίβερπουλ.

Από το πρωί, έξω από το «Old Trafford» αρκετός κόσμος αφήνει λουλούδια στο μνημείο κάτω από το Stretfrord End, το οποίο θα ζήσει συγκινητικές στιγμές την Κυριακή.
